Another fantastic day in the books - strength wise, energy wise, mood. I feel on top of the world this week! I seem to be hitting a wall around 2-3pm every day, but a coffee or a Monster usually sets me straight and I'm back on it for the evening. Haven't felt the effects of the macro drop yet - I think because I've been getting such great sleeps. Went easy on deadlifts today (being overly cautious of wrecking my energy I guess....) - but hit a rep PR on my lat pull downs - s
I knocked out 800 calories of cardio today - without dying! I'm proud of myself. It took a short nap between sessions, but it happened. 400 this morning on the stairs and then 400 in an RPM class tonight with Regena. I rewarded my efforts (actually bribed myself today....) with a chocolate bar - which fit nicely in to my macros. Also got some posing under my belt. I've had three really amazing days in a row. At this point - that is a success in itself. Hopefully I can keep this trend up. Solid sleeps. Strength is holding steady. Mood is BOMB. First day on the new macros was a success. Not missing anything yet. Actually I'm 95% sure that eating two bags of broccoli slaw each day is why my digestion has been so whacky the last couple of weeks... so, I simply cut my dinner slaw out (20g of carbs) which I didn't miss, since it's such a high volume meal anyway (I get tonnes of fibre from other veggie sources in my day, so it's not a huge loss.) I honestly don't even know how I'm functioning right now. I am so tired. I can't WAIT for my head to hit the pillow tonight. I only got about 3 hours of sleep last night - got to bed at 3:30am and had to be up for 6:30. I planned to take a nap but it just never happened. An AMAZING, energetic and fun day in the books - It's 2:40AM and I've just rolled in from the competition in Cobourg, where my two athletes both placed top 5 and earned their provincial qualification. I started the day with an amazing workout - and everything basically just went uphill from there. I am a happy girl. I will spare the details for a future blog since it's like 6 hours past my bed time and I am ZONKED. Night world!
I completed just about every single task on earth before FINALLY forcing myself in to the gym for cardio - at 6pm. Work, house work, yard work, etc etc etc - I got so much done! BUT, I made it. Knocked out 350 cals on the bike. I knew if I didn't do it today, I'd have to do a full hour of cardio on Sunday to meet my weekly goal... there's nothing I hate more than a solid hour of cardio.
