VERY little sleep last night and I'm FEEEEEELING it. I'm glad to be home now. Headache central right now. But we press on... Solid workout today despite the lack of sleep. Strength is still holding strong! I'm off to bed. Time to catch up on some much needed zzzzzz's.
Super long - but an awesome day! Seeing the athletes up on stage for the Leigh Brandt Muscle Classic today was motivating as F. Smelling the tan, hearing the crowd cheer - the fire under my ass has been LIT! Stuck to my pre planned and pre packed meals - hit up a workout at West Coast Iron. Not worth documenting since I just F'd around on cool toys the entire time (this gym has so many neat machines). I did a lot of unilateral leg work - single leg ham curls, single leg press
Solid day - busy day. Strength is trending UP still. Mood is divine. I'm feeling GREAT despite the scale doing me dirty. 600 cals on the stairs tonight, getting cardio knocked out as I'll be on the road tomorrow - off to see a local comp with my friend Kris! SUPER excited to take in this show - never fails to light the fire under my ass. Up bright and early - long day tomorrow so I'm packing it in for tonight! All's good in the hood!
Rest days are now "CARDIO" days. Big ol' hike with Russ and 30 minutes on the stairs for me today. It was too nice out not to enjoy some fresh air. SPRING IS HERE! Feeling awesome. Macros on point. Got a solid 8 hour sleep under my belt last night. Can't ask for anything better. Except for maybe the damn scale to drop.
Strength is still trending up which I'm VERY happy about - but DAMN, I think the deficit is starting to hit. Energy was bottoming out today - felt very drained after my session. Hoping a solid night of sleep will set me straight. Ain't nobody got time for no energy!!!! All in all, happy with the day!
First day at lower macros and I'm feeling good with the drop - not a big adjustment (at least that I've felt yet)! Rest day today, but got some walking in - keeping the steps up. It feels like SPRING here! I'm thinking some hikes are on the horizon! Sun is shining and life is GOOD! Seriously having a really great experience with prep so far :D
I can't believe how quickly the weeks are passing! Another one down - 13 to go. Feeling good about where I'm at - but I'm dropping macros for this next week to see if I can get the scale to cooperate. NEW MACROS: P170/C150/F40 Cardio is now at 2 x 30 minute MISS sessions, on top of 10K+ steps per day and 2-3 90 minute LISS sessions (hikes with Russ) On to the next, let's DO THIS THANG!
