1 Day.

First coat of tan - Check Registered, heighted, suit inspected - Check Athlete's Meeting - Check I'm ready to rock! Gonna tuck in to bed soon and catch a wink before an early rise. Tomorrow is the day! The work is done - now it's time to enjoy the show!

2 Days.

Super massive carb load today - 400g! I am SO full! Frick. Got in the gym for a little pump session and some posing. Liking where I'm at - hopefully after I drop the water I tighten up a smidgen... but I'm happy. Got my nails done today! All of my appointments are done and dusted - full body shave going down tomorrow... then we tan... But for the next 24 hours I'm focussed on rest and sleep and not a whole lot more... I can't believe it's almost time.... Did I mention I love carbs? Had the most insane pancakes for breakfast today - they weren't even that special... I've just been craving pancakes for SO long without the carbs to fit them in. They were heaven in my mouth!

3 Days.

Carb load began today! Just bumping carbs up to 200g today - and we'll see how I'm looking tomorrow and go from there. Thinking tomorrow will be 4-500g depending... I'm pretty depleted at the moment but I'll get in the gym for a quick upper session tomorrow aft to see if I can get a pump and how long I can hold it - and then make the final call from there. Carbs are definitely being felt though - I suddenly feel alive again and feel like my brain is working.... able to tackle tasks and mood has already improved. Magical magical carbs! Got my hair done today - slowly getting things ticked off my to-do list. Hopefully by tomorrow afternoon I'll be all set and able to chill out in the evening,

4 Days.

Last Pull session done. One more lift left to go - that's on Thursday! I'm likely going to start the carb up tomorrow - ease in to it and then see how I'm looking as the week goes on. Kind of just playing it by ear based on how I've responded to my last two refeeds. Had my wax today - on to the next, hair highlights/trim tomorrow, nails on Thursday... Tan and makeup/hair times have been confirmed for Friday/Saturday... I can't believe it's happening! Excitement/Nerves are kicking IN!

5 Days.

Last cardio session of prep done and dusted and hooooooooly does that feel good. No more slogging on that damn treadmill (for now at least... summer hiking will take it's place). Food on point. Hungry as fuck. Tired. Excited. A bunch of other emotions but I'm too drained to pin point what they are LOL Mainly excited though... FIVE DAYS!

6 Days.

Another week in the BOOKS! Crappy lift today and strength is sucking - energy is horrific.... but carbs are on the horizon. Holding it together now.... at least I've managed 3 awesome sleeps in a row! Hallelujah for the small victories! Ready to crush this final week!

PEAK WEEK!

Here we are - 1 week out!!! Took my progress pics / measurements today and I'm down again in the waist, hips and thighs. Hit a new low of 130.2lbs and feeling LEAN and MEAN! Last Leg day done and dusted and it went well - managed to keep quad and knees safe and feeling good through out. Lightened the load and went high rep on a lot of stuff, but good engagement and kept on top of form. Legs are IN - quad cuts are looking good. I'm excited to see what these legs look like after a few days of rest... VERY happy with where things are at right now... Couple more big lifts and then it's just a matter of putting the icing on the cake - beautification and fun stuff starts next week, excitement is k

8 Days.

Big ol' hike knocked out this morning - and on to running around and getting errands done! This is where time starts to pick up speed... so I recall. So much to do, so little time - and still have to get gym, cardio, work knocked out too! Gonna have to make more time for bathroom breaks soon - water loading is approaching!

9 Days.

Hanging in there.... strength is starting to dive. Thank goodness the heavy stuff is DONE. High rep, low weight stuff for the rest of the week...

10 Days.

Ten days out and I'm feeling really rough. Doing everything I can to just push through - even if it means lightening the load on a lot of my lifts. Leg day sucked. Desperately needing a carb up right now but ... we push on. Managed to clean my entire condo AND squeeze a 12K hike in on top. At least activity level is HIGH!

Countdown.

Last big pull session done and dusted. Had to scale down on weight significantly on account of ZERO energy. I feel totally brain dead... but the finish line is within sight. Just gotta keep pushing.

Busy busy busy

Super busy day with work and the day just FLEW by! Feeling good going in to this week. Monday is work / cardio - so I managed to free up enough of my day to fit a 12K hike in the sunshine in. Loaded a new audio book on to my iPod and soaked in some sun and fresh air. Amazing for mental outlook - and beats the heck out of the treadmill any day! Enjoying diet pop and artificial sweeteners while I can - almost time to drop those suckers! Rinse and repeat with the diet until peak week... 'Das it!

Here we are at the end of another week - PHEW! Made it! Counting down the days until carbs now lol! I'm tired. But I'm getting through.

Hello JUNE!

Show month has ARRIVED! I can't believe I'm sitting 2 weeks out now. Wrapped up a solid leg day today - moving slow as molasses these days but I'm getting through. 2 more leg days to GO - better make 'em count. Last full week of workouts is about to go down... feeling more and more excited with every passing day!
