Procrastination is the name of my game...
I completed just about every single task on earth before FINALLY forcing myself in to the gym for cardio - at 6pm. Work, house work, yard work, etc etc etc - I got so much done!
BUT, I made it. Knocked out 350 cals on the bike. I knew if I didn't do it today, I'd have to do a full hour of cardio on Sunday to meet my weekly goal... there's nothing I hate more than a solid hour of cardio. That was motivation enough for me.
I'm heading on a road trip with Regena tomorrow to watch two of my athletes compete in a town about 3.5 hours away. It will be a long day out of the house - so I took care of my meal prep today so I can stay on track. I'm all packed and set for tomorrow.
I'll be dropping my dog off at boarding in the morning, and then hitting the gym for my workout - and then home quickly to shower - then picking up Regena - it'll be GO-GO-GO all day - but it's going to be GREAT! I'm really excited to shake up my routine and get out of town, even if it's just for a day.
Competitions are always a good time - I know it's going to inspire the heck out of me and reignite the fire under my butt for these next 6 weeks of prep!
Now - off to bed so I can get up early and rock it!
