Lately I've been waking up at 5am in an attempt to get as much work accomplished in the AM before I head to the gym as possible... still doesn't free up my afternoon schedule as much as I'd hoped. BUT - it does allow me to get a solid workout in, hit some mobility drills AND go for a hike - which is all I need!
I freaking LOVE waking up before the sun. I've been catching some EPIC sunrises when I take Russ out for his morning pee.
I've been busy with work. Busy is good though. Busy means less time to worry about hunger. HOWEVER - it also means less time to PREP foods... which is yet another reason why I keep rotating the same meals over and over... One less thing to think about! I'm happy with it - and I'll change things up when I get sick of what I'm eating - but as I've mentioned previously - creature of habit over here. I like routine.
SO yes - today was productive. Had a great leg sesh this morning and I'm feeling GOOD. 13 weeks out today and I'm liking how things are progressing.
Again - not much movement on the scale today - but my progress pictures are showing me a different story.
Things are definitely coming in. So far, so good.
If you're by any chance paying attention to my workouts - you'll notice I'm not squatting much these days. My knees have been REALLY achy - abnormally so - after squat sessions - even with wraps - so I've opted for the leg press in lieu - at least for the time being.
I will return to the rack eventually but I want to play it safe while in prep. The last thing I need right now is to be sidelined with an injury. Ain't nobody got time FO DAT.
